A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device (computer, phone or tablet) when you visit it. Cookies allow the site to remember your actions and preferences for a period of time, so you do not have to re-enter them every time you return or browse between pages.

The data controller for cookie use on this site is Vitadefence Ltd (Companies House 15979768, ICO ZC106169), registered at 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom.

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)

Essential for the site to function. They allow you to navigate, keep your cart contents, and complete checkout. These do not require consent because PECR exempts strictly necessary cookies.

3.2 Analytics cookies (consent required)

When enabled, these help us measure site performance (pages visited, time on page). They require your prior consent. Currently we do not set analytics cookies unless you explicitly accept via the cookie banner. They come from Microsoft Clarity, described in the next section.

3.3 Marketing & advertising cookies

We do not set advertising or remarketing cookies unless you accept Marketing in the cookie banner. If you do, Google Tag Manager loads our Google tag and the Pinterest tag loads. The Google cookies are listed below. If we add any more in the future they will require your explicit consent and will be detailed in this policy.

Microsoft Clarity starts only if you accept Analytics. It sets two cookies on vitadefence.com:

Clarity can also set cookies from Microsoft's own domains: CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM. They help Microsoft recognise your browser. Microsoft sets how long they last. Its Privacy Statement says MUID is used for necessary operational purposes and, with consent, for advertising; we never give Clarity advertising consent.

Google Tag Manager starts only if you accept Marketing. The Google tag it loads can set these cookies on vitadefence.com, the ones Google lists for Google Ads:

Lifetimes are Google's own. When you withdraw Marketing we remove these cookies from vitadefence.com. Google may also set cookies from its own domains, which our site cannot remove.

Strictly necessary cookies include cookies set by Shopify, our payment processor, during the checkout process. These cookies are essential to complete your purchase and are governed by Shopify Inc.'s privacy policy.

Analytics cookies come from Microsoft Clarity, and marketing cookies from the Google tag and the Pinterest tag named in 3.3. They are set only after you accept the matching category.

You can accept, reject or delete cookies at any time by:

• Using the consent banner shown on your first visit.
• Change cookie settings: the button at the top of this page, which you reach from the Cookies link at the bottom of every page. It reopens the banner with your choice filled in, so you can switch off what you no longer accept and press Save preferences.
• Adjusting your browser settings. Each browser has different controls for managing cookies — see the help section of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge for instructions.
• Important: If you block strictly necessary cookies you may not be able to complete a purchase or use all features of the site.
• Withdrawing your consent: use the Change cookie settings button as above, or delete the cookies and site data of vitadefence.com in your browser. The banner then appears again and nothing optional runs until you choose. When you withdraw Analytics, Microsoft Clarity deletes its own cookies; when you withdraw Marketing, we remove the Google cookies listed above. When you save a choice that switches off Analytics or Marketing, the page reloads once so that Clarity, the Google tag and the Pinterest tag stop at once.
• Google: Google's Ad Settings let you control the ads Google shows you, including turning off ad personalisation.
• Microsoft Clarity: you can opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page by choosing Microsoft. Clarity also supports the Global Privacy Control setting of your browser.

When you first visit vitadefence.com we display a cookie information banner where you can accept, reject or configure non-essential cookies. Your decision is stored in your browser (local storage) so we do not ask you again every visit; we ask again after 6 months, and whenever we add a tool to a category. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time: the Cookies link at the bottom of every page leads here, and the Change cookie settings button at the top of this page reopens the banner.
