This Refund Policy sets out your rights and our process for cancelling an order, returning goods and obtaining a refund or replacement. It supplements your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — nothing in this policy affects those rights.

1. 14-day right to cancel (change of mind)

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. To cancel:

  1. Email info@vitadefence.com with your order number stating that you wish to cancel.
  2. We will reply with return instructions and a return address.
  3. Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel. You are responsible for the return postage cost (we recommend a tracked service).
  4. Goods must be returned unopened, sealed and in their original condition. Once a sealed food supplement has been opened, it cannot be returned for change of mind on hygiene/health grounds (Regulation 28(3)(g) of the 2013 Regulations).

We will refund the price of the goods plus the standard delivery cost (if any) within 14 days of receiving the goods back, using the same payment method you used at checkout.

2. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If your order arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, you are entitled under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to a remedy:

  • Within 30 days of delivery — you may reject the goods and receive a full refund (short-term right to reject).
  • You may instead choose a replacement — we offer both options and you decide which you prefer.
  • After 30 days but within 6 months — we will replace the faulty goods or, if a satisfactory replacement is not possible, issue a refund.

For faulty goods, we cover the return postage. Email info@vitadefence.com within a reasonable time of discovering the fault, attaching a photo if possible. We will reply with the easiest return method.

3. How refunds are paid

Refunds are issued to the original payment method (card, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, etc.). Once we issue a refund, your bank or payment provider may take an additional 3-10 working days to credit your account, depending on their internal processing.

4. Items not eligible for change-of-mind cancellation

  • Sealed food supplements where the seal has been broken (hygiene exemption).
  • Bundles or multi-packs where any individual unit has been opened.
  • Gift cards.

Statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods (Section 2 above) apply to all products without exception.

5. Cancelling before dispatch

If you change your mind before we have dispatched your order, email info@vitadefence.com as soon as possible. If your order has not yet left us, we will cancel it and refund you in full within 14 days.
