Your right to erasure

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to request deletion of personal data that Vitadefence Ltd (Company No. 15979768, ICO registration ZC106169) holds about you. This includes data collected through vitadefence.com, our customer accounts, and through social sign-in providers such as Facebook.

How to request deletion

Send an email to info@vitadefence.com from the email address associated with your Vitadefence account, with the subject line:

Please include in the body:

  • Your full name as it appears on your account.
  • The email address linked to your Vitadefence account.
  • If you signed in via Facebook, mention “Facebook sign-in” so we can delete the linked social-login record.
  • Confirmation that you want all personal data deleted.

What we delete

  • Your customer account profile (name, email, phone, addresses).
  • Marketing preferences and email opt-ins.
  • Social sign-in tokens and linked Facebook user identifier.
  • Saved payment details (Stripe customer record).

What we must legally retain

UK tax law (HMRC) requires us to retain order and invoice records for 6 years. These records will be anonymised where possible but cannot be deleted in full until the legal retention period expires. This applies only to past orders and is required by law — it does not allow us to use your data for any other purpose.

Response time

We will confirm your deletion request within 72 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with UK GDPR Article 17. You will receive an email confirmation when the deletion is complete.

Right to complain

If you believe we have not handled your deletion request correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by phone on 0303 123 1113.
