Why Choose Vitadefence Nattokinase Multi with Vitamin D3 and Selenium?

Our Nattokinase Multi combines nattokinase, from the traditional Japanese food natto, with vitamin D3, selenium and six botanicals.

Nattokinase is a proteolytic enzyme extracted from natto, a traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans. The Japanese have consumed natto for over 1,000 years, and it remains a dietary staple in Japan today.

Each capsule provides 100 mg nattokinase (2000 FU).

The nattokinase in our formula is derived from fermented soybean extract and is measured in Fibrinolytic Units, which indicates its enzymatic activity level.

Fibrinolytic Units (FU) measure the enzymatic activity of nattokinase. The higher the FU, the more active the enzyme.

What Each Capsule Provides:

Primary Ingredients:

• Nattokinase (from fermented soybean extract): 100mg (providing 2000 Fibrinolytic Units)
• Black Seed Extract (Nigella Sativa): 250mg (equivalent weight from extract)
• Carrageen Sea Moss Extract (Chondrus Crispus): 250mg (equivalent weight from extract)
• Green Tea Extract (Camellia Sinensis): 150mg (equivalent weight from extract)
• Dandelion Root Extract (Taraxacum Officinale): 50mg (equivalent weight from extract)

The Immune Support Duo

Selenium and Vitamin D both contribute to the normal function of the immune system—your body's natural defense mechanism against daily challenges.

Selenium (at 100% NRV) also contributes to:

• Protection of cells from oxidative stress
• Normal thyroid function

Vitamin D (at 110% NRV) supports immune health while also being essential for numerous other body functions.

Black Seed (Nigella Sativa) - 250mg

Black seed, also known as black cumin, has been used in traditional practices for thousands of years. Referred to in some cultures as "the seed of blessing," Nigella Sativa has a rich history of traditional use spanning Middle Eastern, Asian, and Mediterranean cultures.

Each capsule provides black seed extract equivalent to 250mg of black seed.

Carrageen Sea Moss (Chondrus Crispus) - 250mg

Irish sea moss, or carrageen, is a type of red seaweed harvested from rocky Atlantic coastlines. Rich in minerals and naturally occurring compounds, sea moss has been used traditionally in Ireland and other coastal regions for centuries.

Green Tea Extract (Camellia Sinensis) - 150mg

Green tea is one of the most researched botanicals in the world. Rich in polyphenols, particularly catechins like EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate), green tea has been consumed for millennia in Asian cultures.

Dandelion Root Extract (Taraxacum Officinale) - 50mg

Often dismissed as a weed, dandelion has a long history of traditional use. The root, in particular, has been used in European herbal practices for centuries.

N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) - 40mg

NAC is a form of the amino acid cysteine and a precursor to glutathione, one of the body's most important antioxidant compounds. NAC is a form of the amino acid cysteine.

Coriander Leaf (Cilantro) - 30mg

Coriander, the leaf of the cilantro plant, has been used in traditional systems around the world. Beyond its culinary use, it has a history of traditional wellness applications.

Supply Information

60 capsules per bottle = 60-day supply at standard 1 capsule daily dose

To maintain optimal enzyme activity and freshness:

• Store in a cool, dry place
• Keep out of reach of children
• Check the best before date on the base
• Keep bottle tightly sealed
• Avoid exposure to heat and moisture
• Do not refrigerate unless specifically instructed

Natto is created through a specific fermentation process:

1. Soybeans are steamed
2. A beneficial bacteria (Bacillus subtilis natto) is added
3. The mixture ferments for approximately 24 hours
4. During fermentation, the bacteria produces nattokinase enzyme
5. The enzyme is then extracted and purified for supplementation

The resulting food, natto, has a distinctive stringy texture, strong smell, and acquired taste—which is why many people prefer the enzyme in supplement form.

Why is there a warning about blood thinners? This could potentially increase bleeding risk.

Can I take this if I take aspirin daily? No. Aspirin is an antiplatelet medication, and combining it with nattokinase is not recommended. Consult your doctor.

What if I'm on blood pressure medication? You should not take this supplement without medical supervision if you're on blood pressure medication, as interactions may occur.

Is this the same as eating natto? The enzyme is extracted from natto, but taking the supplement is not identical to eating the fermented food. However, it provides the nattokinase enzyme without the strong taste and texture of natto.

Can I take this with other Vitadefence products? Check that you're not duplicating vitamin D3 or selenium if taking multiple supplements. The Liposomal D3 + K2 also contains vitamin D3.

Does this contain vitamin K2? No, this formula does not contain vitamin K2. However, natto (the food) is one of nature's richest sources of vitamin K2. If you want K2, consider our Liposomal D3 + K2 formula.

Can I take this if I have a thyroid condition? Consult your doctor first. The formula contains selenium, which contributes to normal thyroid function, but those with thyroid conditions should check with their healthcare provider.

Why only 1 capsule per day?The label dose is 1 capsule a day. More is not necessarily better with enzymes.

Our Nattokinase Multi can potentially be combined with other Vitadefence products, but considerations include:

• Check vitamin D3 totals - This provides 110% NRV, so account for this if taking other D3 supplements
• Check selenium totals - This provides 100% NRV
• Ask your doctor before combining with other supplements.
• Always consult your doctor when combining supplements, especially if on any medications

Supplements work best as part of a comprehensive approach:

1. Balanced diet - Rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and healthy fats
2. Regular physical activity - At least 150 minutes of moderate exercise weekly
3. Stress management - Meditation, yoga, or other relaxation techniques
4. Quality sleep - 7-9 hours nightly for most adults
5. Avoid smoking - One of the most important factors for cardiovascular health
6. Limit alcohol - Moderation is key
7. Regular health screenings - Monitor blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.
8. Stay hydrated - Adequate water intake supports circulation

Remember: no supplement can replace a healthy lifestyle or medical treatment when needed.

We believe effective supplementation requires:

• Research-informed formulation - Ingredients and doses based on traditional use and studies
• Quality sourcing - Premium ingredients from trusted suppliers
• Comprehensive support - Multiple complementary ingredients, not just isolated compounds
• Safety first - Clear warnings and contraindications
• Transparency - Complete ingredient disclosure and honest information
• Realistic expectations - Supplements support wellness; they don't replace medical care

Several factors distinguish our Nattokinase Multi:

1. Nattokinase - 2000 FU per capsule
2. Immune support addition - Selenium and D3 for year-round immune health
3. Vegan-friendly - Including vegan D3 source (though contains soy)
4. One capsule daily - Simple, convenient dosing
5. GMP quality - Manufactured to high standards in the UK

Remember: This supplement is not suitable for everyone. The contraindications regarding blood pressure and blood thinning medications are serious. Always ask your doctor before starting this supplement if you take any medication.

If this formula is appropriate for you, consistent daily use combined with a healthy lifestyle offers the best approach to supporting your long-term wellness.
